Wildflower Studies by NEST

Our NEST Wildflower ID Class is now open for registration! See the flyer below for more info, and click on the "Sign Up & Pay" button to register. The course fee includes more than 24 hours of instruction, a notebook and handouts, light snacks, and a field notebook upon completion of the course. See our wildflower class registration policy at the bottom of this page.

We wish to thank MTSU's Center for Environmental Education for their help and support of these classes!

* NOTE: If the "Sign Up & Pay" button no longer appears in the flyer below, this indicates registration for the Feb-April class is closed. NEST will offer the wildflower ID class again during the summer of 2026. Check back here later for more info.

WILDFLOWER CLASS REGISTRATION POLICY

•    You must attend the mandatory prerequisite class in order to take the remaining classes in this course. No exceptions. There is no makeup for the prerequisite class. Please look at the class dates carefully before you register.

•    Class size is limited. To give everyone the best opportunity to participate, a $40 non-refundable cancellation fee will be applied (with the balance refunded) if you cancel at least two days prior to the prerequisite class.

•    No refunds are issued after attending the prerequisite class. Makeup classes are offered.

•    Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to miss a class due to an emergency, sickness or other matter. NEST will make a reasonable attempt to schedule an individual makeup class at an alternate location, which may involve additional fees depending on the venue rented. Limit is two makeup classes per student.

•    All classes are indoors and held rain or shine, but inclement weather will postpone a class to the next available date. NEST will send a notice via email 24 hours in advance if a class needs to be canceled or postponed.

•    There is no waiting list.

•    To learn about other class offerings, follow NEST - Nature Education Society of Tennessee on Facebook or Instagram, or visit our website: www.nest-tn.org
